TOPIC: DON'T BOW DOWN BEFORE ANOTHER GOD - REPENT AND BE SAVED THROUGH CHRIST JESUS

You shall not make for yourself a carved image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them." - Exodus 20:4-5

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus." - 1 Timothy 2:5

THE MESSAGE:

Beloved, God is warning you today. Don't bow down before another image.

Don't bow to anything made with hands. If you are bowing to it, repent and be saved through Christ Jesus.

Many people today are bowing to idols, images, statues, charms, and carved objects made by men. Some bow to money. Some bow to their ancestors. Some bow to images they call holy. But God says, you shall not bow to them.

Why? Because that image cannot hear you. It cannot save you. It has eyes but cannot see. It has ears but cannot hear. It has hands but cannot help you. Only Jesus can save.

When you bow to an image, you are giving the glory of God to something that is not God. God is a jealous God. He will not share His glory with any image.

If you are bowing to an image, if you keep a statue in your house and you pray to it, if you bow to anything made with hands, God is calling you today to repent. Turn away from it. Throw it away. Come to Jesus Christ.

Only Jesus died for you. Only Jesus shed His blood for you. No image died for you. Only Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him.

Repent today. Confess your sins. Tell Jesus, I am sorry for bowing to other images. Save me. Wash me with Your blood. Be my Lord and Savior. And He will save you.

Salvation is only in Christ Jesus. Not in images. Not in idols. Only Jesus saves.

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, forgive me for bowing down before any other image. I repent today. I throw away every idol in my heart and in my house. I believe You died for me and rose again. Save me today and be my Lord forever, in Jesus name. Amen.

Declaration:
I will not bow down before another image. I will worship only Jesus Christ. He alone is my God and my Savior.

God's Divine Creation

Gate Of Christ Daily Devotional   With Apostle Emmanuel Ehis Aloja   Friday, June 19, 2026 Topic: God's Divine Creation Scripture   Genesis 1:27   "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." The Word   Everything God made carries His signature. From the vastness of the galaxies to the detail in your fingerprint, creation was never random. It was intentional.  When God formed you, He wasn't experimenting. He was expressing Himself. You are not a mistake of biology or a product of chance. You are God's divine creation, crafted with purpose, designed for dominion, and wired for fellowship with Him.  The same God who spoke light into existence spoke value into you. If He paid such attention to the stars and the seas, how much more attention did He give to the one He made in His own image?  Today, refuse to see yourself through the lens of your fla...

Humble Humble Yourselves Before God

Image
GATE OF CHRIST DEVOTIONAL With Emmanuel Ehis Aloja Friday April 11th 2026 Topic Humble Yourselves Before God The opportune moment has arrived to surrender your heart to God, your creator, and embark on a transformative journey of repentance, forgiveness, and redemption through Jesus Christ. Walk away from the shadows of sin and embrace the radiant light of God's love, making Jesus your guiding force and personal savior. John 3:26 reminds us that God's profound love for humanity led Him to give His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall experience eternal life, unshackled from the chains of sin. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us not be swayed by the fleeting allure of this world, for Mark 8:36-37-38 cautions us that the cost of our soul is far greater than any earthly gain. Let us stand firm in our faith, unashamed to proclaim our devotion to Christ, even in the face of adversity. 2 Chronicles 7:14 inspires us to humble ourselves, pray, seek ...
