Topic: Only The Mercy Of God Can Set You Free
SCRIPTURE:
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Psalm 51:1
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
THE WORD:
There are battles that skill cannot win, doors that strength cannot open, and chains that effort cannot break. Only mercy can.
The law condemns, but mercy redeems. Judgement says you are guilty, but mercy says you are forgiven. Where your labour has failed, mercy will speak for you.
Bartimaeus cried for mercy and his blindness ended. The thief on the cross cried for mercy and paradise opened to him. David cried for mercy and his sin was wiped away.
You may be right in your own eyes, but you need mercy to be justified before God. It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. Romans 9:16
Today, stop defending yourself. Go to the throne of grace and cry for mercy. Mercy will rewrite your story, silence every accuser, and set you completely free.
WHY YOU MUST CRY FOR MERCY:
Mercy cancels judgement. Mercy triumphs over judgement. James 2:13
Mercy opens closed doors. God does not open doors because we are qualified, but because He is merciful.
Mercy brings freedom. Sin, affliction and stagnation are broken by the mercy of God.
PRAYER:
Father, have mercy upon me according to your lovingkindness.
O Lord, by Your mercy, blot out every judgement against my life and family.
Let Your mercy speak for me and set me free from every chain, in Jesus name.
DECLARATION:
The mercy of God is speaking for you today. Every chain is broken and you are set free in Jesus mighty name.
