Topic: LIVING IN THE LAST DAYS
BIBLE TEXT:
2 Timothy 3:1-5, Matthew 24:12-13, 1 John 2:18
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.” - 2 Timothy 3:1 (KJV)
MEMORY VERSE:
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” - Matthew 24:12-13
THE MESSAGE:
We are not preparing for the last days - we are IN the last days. The Bible did not hide it. Apostle Paul said perilous times shall come. Jesus said iniquity shall abound. What you are seeing today - cold love, deception, immorality, lovers of self more than lovers of God, wars, and distractions - is exactly what was prophesied.
The question is not, "Are we in the last days?" The question is, "How are you living in the last days?"
Many believers are sleeping in the last days. They are too busy with trends, too distracted by social media, too entangled with the world to discern the times. But God is calling you to live differently.
How To Live In The Last Days:
1. Live With Discernment, Not Distraction.
In the last days, deception shall increase. If you are not rooted in the Word, you will be swept away. Don't follow every voice. Follow the voice of the Shepherd. Turn off noise and turn on the Word.
2. Live Holy, Not Hollow.
2 Timothy 3:5 says people will have a form of godliness but deny the power. God is not looking for church-goers who look godly on Sunday and live worldly on Monday. Holiness is your preservation in perilous times.
3. Live On Fire, Not Cold.
Jesus said the love of many shall wax cold because of abounding sin. Guard your love! Keep your prayer altar burning. Keep your first love for Jesus. A cold Christian is a captured Christian.
4. Live Ready, Not Careless.
The last days are not days to relax, they are days to be ready. Like the five wise virgins in Matthew 25, keep your lamp burning and your oil extra. Live everyday as if Jesus will come today. Preach as if you won't have another chance.
Beloved, the last days are evil days, but they are also days of great harvest and great power. For those who endure, there is glory.
REFLECTION:
Am I living like someone who knows Jesus can come at any moment? What distractions do I need to cut off to keep my fire burning?
PRAYER POINT:
Father, in the name of Jesus, awaken me from spiritual slumber. In these last days, give me grace to live holy, to stand strong, and to endure to the end. Let my lamp not go dim. I refuse to be cold, distracted, or deceived. Keep me ready for Your coming, in Jesus' name.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
I declare in these last days, I shall not be a victim of deception. My love for Jesus shall not wax cold. I am burning, discerning, and ready. I endure to the end and my crown is secured, in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Isaiah 55-57, 2 Timothy 3
