TOPIC: GOD PROMISED NOAH NEVER TO DESTROY THE EARTH WITH FLOOD AGAIN

Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." - Genesis 9:11

For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you." - Isaiah 54:9

THE MESSAGE:

Beloved, God has promised us that He will never destroy the earth with flood again.

In the days of Noah, God destroyed the earth with flood because of sin. The wickedness of man was too much. But after the flood, Noah offered sacrifice to God, and God made a covenant. He put the rainbow in the sky as a sign of that promise. Every time you see the rainbow, remember that God said, I will never destroy the earth with flood again.

That is the mercy of God. God is not happy to destroy. He is a merciful God. Even when we sin, He still shows mercy.

Just as God promised never to destroy the earth with flood, He has also promised never to leave you. He has promised that His mercy will never leave you. Isaiah 54:9 says, just as God swore that the waters of Noah will no longer cover the earth, so He has sworn not to be angry with you forever.

So when you see rain falling heavily and you are afraid, remember the promise of God. God keeps His promise. He is faithful.

But also remember, God will not destroy the earth with flood, but He has promised that one day Jesus will come to judge the world. So we must repent and be ready. The rainbow is a sign of mercy, but also a call to return to God.

Today, thank God for His promise. Thank Him for His mercy that keeps you.

PRAYER:

Father, thank You for Your promise never to destroy the earth with flood again. Thank You for Your mercy over my life. Help me to always remember Your covenant and to live in Your mercy, in Jesus name. Amen.

Declaration:
God has promised never to destroy the earth with flood again. His mercy and covenant over my life will never fail.
